Pattern #48 - Tester Call

We’re excited to announce our next digital pattern, the Sewfisticated Savour Tote, and we’re looking for guest testers to help bring it to life!

The Sewfisticated Savour Tote is a spacious, versatile bag designed to keep up with your busy lifestyle. With a generous main compartment and a dedicated front zipper pocket - perfect for an insulated lunch section or gym essentials or as a diaper bag - it’s practical, stylish, and ready for anything your day throws at you.

Test Period:

15th Feb EST – 25th Feb EST (10 days)

Expected Launch: End of Feb / Early March

How to Apply:

1. Join the SCD Facebook group (if you’re not already a member).
2. Find the Tester Call post and follow the instructions to apply.
   Closing Date: 12th Feb MN EST
   Selected testers will be notified via Facebook Messenger and invited to a dedicated tester group.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bag-Making Experience: Comfortable with zippers and layered construction.
• Proofreading Skills: Able to follow the pattern, provide constructive feedback, and check for grammar/spelling.
• Materials Ready: Have the necessary supplies (or suitable alternatives).
• High-Quality Photography: Can provide clear, beautiful photos of the finished bag and details.
• Integrity: Keep all pattern details confidential.
• Social Media Engagement: Active in sewing/bag-making communities and able to promote the pattern during testing.
• Collaborative Spirit: Respectful and comfortable working with a diverse, international team.
• Recommended Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced
  The finished tote involves exterior topstitching through the side panels, which can create some bulk. Recommended for makers comfortable with layered construction.
