Downloadable Files

You can access your downloadable files directly from your SCD account under "Downloadable files" in your account details.

Please be aware that there is a limit of 5 downloads per purchase, so it's recommended to download the files to your devices for ease of access.

When printing the pattern pieces using your computer and Adobe Reader, ensure that you select the "Actual" size option and measure the 1" or 2.5/3 cm test box to confirm that your pattern pieces are printed at the correct size. Select "Automatic" for paper orientation to ensure proper alignment. Please note that using tablets or smartphones may result in deviations.

The pattern pieces are designed to print on either A4 or US Letter paper size.

Measurements

All cutting measurements provided throughout the pattern are listed as width x height.

Seam allowances (SA) are highlighted in RED throughout the pattern instructions for easy reference.

Measurements are given in both Imperial (Inches) and Metric (CM) units for your convenience.

The idea for the Odyssey Pack came to fruition when my daughter requested for a a school backpack that can accommodate a detachable lunch box. Designed with versatility in mind, the Odyssey Pack serves multiple purposes.

During the picnic by the river, Emily Sol, used The Odyssey Pack as a lunch bag, effortlessly fastening it to The Sewfisticated Totepack Convertible.

The grab handle and D-ring on the Odyssey Pack are seamlessly sewn, ensuring a smooth transition to any detachable hooks or straps. Inside, you will find a clear and/or mesh zipper pockets, with the option for an additional zipper pocket if needed. Adjusting the depth of the Odyssey Pack is made simple with the mathematical guidelines provided in the Pattern Instructions under Customization and Recommendations.

Perfect for those on the go, the Odyssey Pack can accommodate most lunch boxes. It's not just limited to school use—it can also serve as a toy organizer, store medical supplies, or function as an all-purpose pouch. This pattern demonstrates two binding methods: Fold Over and Bind Over.

Jennifer M, ingeniously used The Sewfisticated Totepack Convertible as her go-to mom's backpack, while using The Odyssey Pack as a convenient diaper change pouch. Such setup made diaper changes hassle-free and efficient.

Yin Ying opted to use the insulated foam and skipped the lining for The Odyssey Pack, repurposing it as a lunch bag. It's convenient to detach from The Sewfisticated Totepack Convertible and suitable for everyday use.
