Once again, this new pattern was inspired by my recent trip. I live in tropical Singapore, an island in Asia. It is known for its sunny and rainy seasons throughout the year. I am not accustomed to extreme cold weather and packing for a winter holiday is not an easy feat, especially with a little one in tow. All the clothes are fluffier than usual. There is simply no room for more. I will typically use ziplock bags to compress the clothes. However, many bags are split open in the process of packing.
With that in mind, Sewfisticated Packing Cubes are not your usual packing cubes. We have included the new Sewfisticated Xpandable Zipper Technique with a twist - the Compression Zipper!
4 different sizes, 2 types of Packing Cubes (Regular and Compression) with separate pattern pieces (cut on fold or full sizes) are included. Yes, we also included Clear Vinyl instructions!
Creativity at its finest. You can easily change the look with different fabric bases. You can make it with a sturdier fabric base to store your sewing materials for sewing retreats! A storage for your craft show. I made a few sizes in clear vinyl and waxed canvas for my daughter's belongings. She can easily see, pack and store her stuff.
One can always use an extra packing cube as a storage bag, especially when it is foldable and lightweight. Perfect for traveling, storage, and best as a gift!
