"I adore the FoldNZip Pixie. Having made the original FoldNZip, the Belle and now the FoldNZip Pixie, it is so fun to make. For me the size is perfect to carry as an every-day bag. Cutting, interfacing and sewing the pattern pieces was much easier due to the size of the pieces that are used in the construction of the Pixie. Let me just say "WOW" when it comes to the instructions. Designer, Jassie Teo, has stepped up her game in pattern writing. Little details throughout her patterns sets her instructions on a pedestal. For example, color coding the pattern pieces helps distinguish which pattern pieces are going to be used for which fabric. Important notes throughout the instructions are printed in a highlighted color. Having a diagramed pattern overview with pictures of a finished bag and arrows pointing to the specific pieces of the bag helps you understand what fabrics will be used in what location of the bag; making it easy to pick your own fabrics for your bag."

"Very Interesting Pattern! A ‘’Family Bag’ of the FoldnZip! Even though it’s Pixie, it has very roomy space for all you need to store for an outing. As usual, there’s no shortage of pockets! There is a front pocket, a back pocket, interior mesh pocket as well as a slip pocket! Other than being an outing bag, it can even be a lunch bag for kids to bring to school! How lovely isn’t it?! It’s gonna be my Picnic Bag! ❤️❤️"

Popcorn fabric is from Backstitch in CL base and the box print is from Purple Dragon. All interfaced with sew fuse plus from Castine Handcraft. Vinyl is from Oh So Pretty. In between the layers I used a layer of foam and insul-bright as this bag is being used as a lunch bag. Interior is all waterproof canvas.

"Pattern is very detailed. It might seem as there are a lot of steps but as a beginner it is perfect. Design is the perfect size. Cute and small.

Love this bag! It’s perfect as a lunch bag for my 8yo. Which she took as soon as she saw the bag."

My favorite thing for this is the key leash in this because I used it for my seam ripper so it doesn’t go getting lost."
