When printing the pattern pieces using your computer and Adobe Reader, ensure that you select the "Actual" size option and measure the 1" or 2.5/3 cm test box to confirm that your pattern pieces are printed at the correct size. Select "Automatic" for paper orientation to ensure proper alignment. Please note that using tablets or smartphones may result in deviations.

The pattern pieces are designed to print on either A4 or US Letter paper size.

All cutting measurements provided throughout the pattern are listed as width x height.

Seam allowances (SA) are highlighted in RED throughout the pattern instructions for easy reference.

Measurements are given in both Imperial (Inches) and Metric (CM) units for your convenience.

You will learn how to install zipper using Zipper Box method, how to create rolled handles, D-Ring Tabs with strap extenders, side gussets for the Regular version, how to sew round corners and complete the bag WITHOUT the need for binding!

INTRODUCTION

The Sewfisticated Laptop Bag comes in 2 sizes and 2 versions. You can use it as a shoulder bag, handheld briefcase bag and as a slim laptop sleeve bag, in whichever way you prefer.

360 degrees all-round protective reinforced interior edges protect your laptop from accidental impact. Features a cushioned foam padding layer and fluffy fleece fabric lining for bump and shock absorption, offering added protection from accidental scratches. Top-loading double zippers glide smoothly, allowing fast, convenient access to your laptop and other essentials.

The Regular - 2 1/8” (5.4cm) depth version comes with side gussets - preventing items from dropping out of the bag yet providing easy accessibility. This version comes with a bigger base to house bulkier items such as your laptop charger or a water bottle. Children can even use it as a bag for their art supplies!

The Slim - 3/4” (2cm) depth version features a top opening with double zippers that glide smoothly and freely, with a 90-180 degree opening which offers convenient access to devices. This is a slim and lightweight laptop sleeve option that does not bulk up your overall look and can easily be handheld, or simply slide it into a larger briefcase or backpack for easy portability.

Both versions come with grab handles and 2 D-rings which easily converts them to portable sling bags. Both boast PLENTY of storage options - front pocket for easy access to your wallet and phone, large back zipper pocket, front slip pocket secured with magnetic snap, inner mesh pocket to store pens, cables, cards and to keep other small accessories well-organized.
