The Crescent Bag
The Sewfisticated Luna pattern is a popular choice for those looking for a crescent-shaped bag that can be used as a crossbody sling or a shoulder handbag. Petite-sized is also perfect as a waist belt.
One of the key features of this pattern is the quilted appearance, which adds a stylish touch to the bag.
The pattern offers two different sizes, Regular and Petite, each with its own unique pocket configuration.
The Regular size includes 2 zipper pockets, 1 slip pocket, and a main zipper compartment. On the other hand, the Petite size features 2 slip pockets along with the main zipper compartment.
The Luna bag is designed with functionality in mind. It features a fully enclosed zipper, ensuring that the bag remains securely closed even when worn as a crossbody sling. This is particularly important for those who are constantly on the go and need their belongings to be safe and secure.
The Sewfisticated Luna pattern is suitable for advanced beginner to intermediate sewers. It provides an opportunity to learn how to create a curve bag with slip and zipper pockets. The pattern also offers the option of adding piping, which adds an elegant finishing touch to the bag. The binding method is used to complete the pattern, ensuring a clean and professional look.
For those who prefer visual guidance, the Sewfisticated Luna pattern includes SVG and Projector Files, as well as a video tutorial for a sew-along experience. These resources make it easier for sewers to follow along and create their own Luna bag with confidence.
